New Quarterly Publication ‘Our Council’
Hornsby Shire Council has begun supply of the first edition of a brand new council journal, free publication to all residents of the Local Government Area (LGA).
Titled ‘Our Council’, the publication is to be delivered quarterly to mailboxes all through Hornsby Shire and includes updates on major projects, data on providers, native history and sustainability along with contact data for the Shire’s Mayor and each of its nine councillors.
Hornsby Shire Mayor Philip Ruddock AO says the publication ensures that all residents of the Shire feel knowledgeable and updated on Council tasks.
“To regular users of the net and digital units, receiving a printed publication within the mail would possibly look like a hark again to the past.
But as a various and inclusive community, it’s necessary that Council news and information reaches all residents, not just those that regularly use social media,” mentioned Mayor Ruddock.
